Rob Gill BSc(Hons) - Broadcast Engineer

Rob joined the Cloudbass team as the first of its staff engineers. Having completed the degree in Music Production and Multimedia Technology at the University of Derby, Rob came on board with a set of skills that cross over the technical / production boundary. This allows him to understand the needs of production when in an engineering role, which is vital when trying to interpret their requests on site.

Rob specialises in Sound and Vision with skills that make him an excellent Sound Assist whilst at the same time allow him to Vision Guarantee and Supervise in situations such as MUTV's live coverage. He is also a regular at Input Media, manning their MCR as well as engineering at the installs for Chelsea and Arsenal TV.

When in production mode Rob has been known to wield a camera, but is also developing specialist knowledge in post production with particular interest in the grading process that saw him grade 'Huw Stephens Presents...', Cloudbass' production with Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens.

James 'Milo' Miles BSc(Hons) - Broadcast Engineer

Milo has always wanted to be 'a kind of live sound guy' and so joined the team with a view to following his his ambitions after completing a BSc (Hons) in Sound, Light and Live Event Technology.

His particular passions include live sound engineering and making really cool stuff work, which is fortunate as he is heading up the sound installation in the new Cloudbass OB2. Having quickly settled into the role of Sound Supervisor at MUTV, he is fast learning a range of new skills and is loving the quick progression into the broadcast industry.

As with many of Cloudbass' top bods, Milo is also an excellent Sound Assist, possessing excellent people skills alongside a good working knowledge of 'the other end of the cables' which is being developed in his MUTV Sound Supervisor and Guarantee roles.

Ali Clark - Business Manager

Ali joined Cloudbass in 2007 with an IT sales and recruitment background that provides a unique knowledge of corporate operation along with customer service that has allowed him to develop the company's office infrastructure. Along with running the office, Ali has also been known to venture on site which provides him with an understanding of what Cloudbass actually does for its customers which in turn allows him to provide a better experience for CB's clients.

When he's not holding the office together, Ali has been known to indulge his rather unhealthy obsession for cars and RC helicopters, but not necessarily at the same time!
